In addition to helping our patients achieve the proper swing, here are three exercises that Renew Physical Therapy recommends to prepare you for the golf season:

 

  1. Single Leg Bridge with Tubing Pull: This exercise is great for strengthening your core and abdominal muscles, training your muscles in your back, and your hamstrings.
  2. X Walks: Using a resistance band, X walks strengthen your abs and glutes simultaneously. Loop the band around your feet and cross in front of your body to strengthen your body.
  3. Split Lunge Valgus Band with Ball: Using a band and a ball, perform split lunges to benefit your hip and knee stability, and strengthen your core.
