Meet the Team at the Rainier Beach Clinic

HC---Zahra-Young---Physical-Therapist

Zahra Young, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Zahra was born and raised in Seattle, growing up in the Rainier Valley. She attended WWU and UPS for her collegiate education. Along the way, she discovered her love for sports and spent 20 years participating in local rugby, as well as traveling to support her friends and teammates at multiple Rugby World Cups.
She is passionate about providing patients with the knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their care, equipping them with the tools to maintain, progress, and excel in their goals.

Outside the clinic, Zahra enjoys traveling the world, working on her horseback riding skills, attending just about any sporting event, and attempting to pick up her knitting needles more than once a year.

Rainier Beach - Harrison Ma DPT - Physical Therapist

Harrison Ma, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, Cert. DN, SMTC

Physical Therapist

Harrison Ma joins the Renew team as a licensed Physical Therapist, Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), Certified Dry Needling Provider (Cert DN), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Harrison has lived and worked throughout the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Asia in pursuit of a variety of professional opportunities. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California (USC).

Harrison has had the unique privilege of traveling with Olympic-level athletes and teams. He has also worked with athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, collegiate, and high school settings, helping them compete at the highest level, prepare for professional draft combines, earn national and international medals, and achieve MVP honors. Along the way, he has been fortunate to serve as the Team Physical Therapist for multiple national championship and gold medal-winning teams.

Harrison’s own positive experiences with physical therapy as a young competitive swimmer and basketball player inspired him to become a physical therapist. His goal is to make a meaningful impact on people’s health and well-being. He takes a holistic approach to care, empowering each person with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to return to a healthy, active lifestyle.

When he’s not in the clinic, on the sidelines with athletes, or attending continuing education courses, you can find Harrison working out, exploring new food spots and boba shops, taking photos, watching movies and shows, spending time with family and friends, or cheering on the Golden State Warriors, UC Berkeley, and USC Athletics.
