Meet the Team at the Renton Clinic

Renton---Matthew-Godofsky---Managing-Partner

Matthew Godofsky, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist & Owner

Matt graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Matt is proficient in working with patients with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological impairments, including low back pain, cervical whiplash, post-concussive syndrome, shoulder impingement, pre-and post-surgical care, complex ankle and foot injuries, and elite athlete rehabilitation.

He also has a strong interest in evaluating and treating balance, dizziness, and vestibular disorders, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). Matt stresses the importance of patient education and utilizes current evidence-based practice to address each patient’s specific needs to reach their goals. Matt has been with the Renew PT family since 2017 and strives to provide Renew’s values and quality of care to their newest clinic in Renton.

When he isn’t working, Matt enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his newborn baby.

Caitlin Cooney, PT, DPT, FAFS

Physical Therapist

Caitlin has been a physical therapist since 2014, earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. She has worked as a travel PT, exploring the coast of Oregon, New Mexico, and northern Washington in Skagit Valley. She has been practicing in Seattle since 2017.

Her experience ranges from working with infants in a clinical setting to treating the geriatric population in their homes. She most enjoys working in orthopedics, helping people get back to what they love, whether it’s picking up their grandchild, reducing pain so they can focus on work, or returning to the slopes. She strives to create an inviting, peaceful environment where patients feel heard and cared for.

Caitlin blends hands-on therapy with movement re-education, strength-building, and patient education. She treats the body as a whole, always seeking the root cause of pain or dysfunction rather than just addressing symptoms. She has earned a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS), which has deepened her ability to analyze movement from a holistic perspective.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her partner, her dog Bobby, friends, and family. She loves staying active, exploring new places, and being in nature. She enjoys competition and challenges herself physically—whether through weightlifting, biking up hills, or tackling difficult hikes. She also has a passion for yoga, meditation, and spiritual classes. In her free time, she explores new creative pursuits, most recently pottery and sewing.

Chip Moran, PTA

Chip Moran, BS, PTA, NASM-CPT

Physical Therapist Assistant

Born and raised in the Sunshine State of Florida, Chip grew up playing sports and spending time outdoors. After participating in baseball and football in high school, he played semi-pro baseball from 2003 to 2005 in Orlando, FL. His career was cut short due to a shoulder injury. Having experienced injuries firsthand, he decided to dedicate his professional career to helping others recover from their own.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania and an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Polk State College in Winter Haven, FL, in 2007. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Applied Sports Science.

With over 18 years of experience in sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, Chip has worked with NFL and MLB athletes. In addition to his expertise in sports rehabilitation, he holds certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, Certified Speed and Agility Coach (NASE), and in Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He is passionate about sports performance and committed to improving clients’ overall health and fitness.

Remington Klein, PT, DPT

Remington Klein, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Remington is a native of Eastern Washington. Raised in the small farm town of Edwall, he is no stranger to the manual labor that comes with a rural upbringing in Washington agriculture.Through years of farm work and sports, Remington sustained and recovered from multiple injuries, including a torn meniscus in his left knee. A several-year bout of debilitating chronic back pain reignited his pursuit of physical therapy as a career.

Remington graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015 and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. In the years between his academic programs, he took on a wide array of jobs—from farm work and landscaping to cataloging biological samples, participating in outdoor ecology projects under AmeriCorps (such as landslide remediation and river landscaping to produce eddies for fish populations), and even professional pond and fishtank cleaning. His diverse work background shaped his intuitive understanding of the workplace and life demands his patients may face. His experience with chronic pain gives him first-hand insight into how significantly pain can impact daily living.

When not in the clinic, Remington has too many hobbies and not enough time: running, kayaking, volleyball, lifting, Gunpla, crafts, board games, building and playing with computers, virtual reality gaming, soldering, responsible firearm use, and more. Since moving from the east side of Washington, he has developed an interest in flow arts—most notably swinging poi—and recently purchased lightsabers to blend martial arts with visual performance.

Lhorrana DaSilva, DPT Physical Therapist at Renew Physical Therapy, Renton

Lhorrana DaSilva, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Lhorrana earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bridgewater State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University. Giving back to others has always been close to her heart. During her studies, she developed a deep passion for helping patients reach their full potential and return to the activities they love. Now living in Washington, she hopes to continue that same spirit of service by supporting her local community through her work and outreach efforts.

Lhorrana is thrilled to begin her career with Renew, where she looks forward to making a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives. She believes the most rewarding part of being a physical therapist is walking alongside each patient on their journey to recovery.

She is passionate about working with diverse populations, with a special interest in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation. Her goal is to enhance not only her patients’ physical health but also their overall well-being and quality of life.

Outside the clinic, you can find Lhorrana spending time with friends and family, reading a good book, staying active at the gym, playing sports, or watching Formula One races.
